~My Pet Dragon~

Im so glad i got around to making another paper/card dragon (you can see my first one here [link]) and this one is a whole dragon too

I made this in 3 nights usin white paper/card, hot glue,scissors, knife and a bit of sticky tape for the wings. It was so much fun to make, really happy with how it turned out

I based it on an initial sketch([link]) but it ended up being quite different.

Alot of people think this is origami, but actually its not!! as it involved ALOT of cutting and glueing hehe, Also sorry theres no diagrams-.-" unless u can download images from my brain i dont think i'd be ale to make diagrams for it cos there was a bit of trial n error involvedXD, although, i will try to take some progress pics the next time i make another paper model

My Pet Dragon is made from paper and some glue and have tons of personality. He fits in your palm but wont likely breathe any fire on it! This is among various other skillfully compose paper creations within ~Richi89's gallery. ( Suggested by ~shinkita and Featured by `Myana )

wow!!!! this is some awesome work

well, the definitions of origami are not very well known xD origami includes a set of unwritten rues, namely, use a square paper, no cutting, no gluing. i myself ignored the first one, an have been using the third one for the shaping of my models

Cheers man! Yeh when I first uploaded this there wasn't a general papercraft category! Also I'm a fan of Satoshi Kamiyabut have yet to attempt any of his dragons, I tried his unicorn though hehe. WIll check out your stuff now

whoa dude, you got a long way to go before atempting any of his dragons, leave his unicorn xD chocobo is WAY easier! many origamists are afraid of folding the ryuzin, including myself. but many have successfully atempted andn folded it

Well not really, paper cutting and scherenshitte are more detailed 2d pieces it seems. I just call it papercraft/paper sculpting. Although now papercraft tends to refer to the computer model print outs haha
