I just had to take a picture of Amaterasu in my garden, it's only natural....(pun intended;)...oh I am so lame...)

Amaterasu, Goddess of the Sun from the game Okami.

Made with different coloured/textured card and hot glue. I experimented with a different type of armature this time. Instead of having a wire 'skeleton' I scrunched up pieces of scrap paper to give the overall form and began building on top of it. I found this way better as you can see the final overall form instead of just a skeleton.

This model is about 23cm from head to tail. I removed the solar disk in the back view to expose the flowy hair (most fun part to make)
